The Ogre’s Bride Anime Reveals New Cast Ahead of 2026 Premiere
The official X/Twitter account for the television anime adaptation of The Ogre’s Bride by Kureha announced two additional cast members ahead of the series’ 2026 premiere.
Newly revealed voice actors include Momoka Terasawa as Sou and Miyu Kobashi as Ao. Previously announced cast features Saori Hayami as protagonist Yuzu Shinonome and Yūichirō Umehara as Reiya Kiryuin.

The anime is directed by Kazuhito Ōmiya at Colored Pencil Animation Japan, with series composition by Yumi Kamakura, character designs by Hikari Tanaka, and music composed by Masaru Yokoyama.
Set in a world where humans and demons coexist, the story follows ordinary high school girl Yuzu, who lives in the shadow of her sister—the bride of a demon. Her life changes after meeting a mysterious ogre who declares that she will become his bride.
The manga adaptation by Jun Togashi launched in Starts Publishing’s Noicomi in December 2021, topping the magazine’s annual girl comics ranking in 2022 and 2023. The eighth compiled volume shipped on December 26, with English publication handled by MangaPlaza.

Kureha originally began the light novel series on the Novema! platform in 2019, featuring illustrations by Yū Shiroya. The seventh novel volume released on August 8, and the franchise has surpassed 5.8 million copies in circulation across novels and manga. A live-action film adaptation is also set to open on March 27.
