A Story of Virtual Dreams and Reality
The story unfolds in Tsukuyomi, a virtual world where hopes and second lives overlap. Initially, we meet Iroha Sakayori, a 17-year-old student who leads a busy life in Tokyo. She finds peace in Tsukuyomi by supporting her favorite streamer, Yachiyo. However, her life changes forever when she encounters a mysterious girl named Kaguya who emerges from a glowing telephone pole. Consequently, Iroha becomes a producer and songwriter for Kaguya as they navigate the virtual spotlight together.

The Princess Kaguya Anime Film features a rich soundtrack with contributions from famous Vocaloid creators. Furthermore, Saori Hayami performs the theme song titled “Ex-Otogibanashi,” composed by Ryo from supercell. In addition, the film is a collaboration between Studio Chromato and Studio Colorido.
