Kyohei Takahashi Cast as Hyoma Chigiri in Blue Lock Live-Action Film
Blue Lock’s live-action film has revealed its latest cast member, confirming that Kyohei Takahashi will portray Hyoma Chigiri, one of Team Z’s fastest and most iconic players. Alongside the announcement, two new visuals were released, including a full character reveal and a close-up shot focusing on Chigiri’s eyes.

The official account continues its daily character unveil campaign, gradually introducing the full lineup of Team Z. Previous visuals highlighted the eyes of twelve characters, building anticipation ahead of the film’s release.

The live-action adaptation stars Fumiya Takahashi as protagonist Yoichi Isagi, with Kaito Sakurai appearing as Meguru Bachira. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan in summer 2026.
Direction is handled by Yūsuke Taki, with Tetsuo Kamata writing the screenplay. Production is led by CREDEUS, while TOHO will distribute the film theatrically.

Originally launched in 2018, Blue Lock quickly became one of the most influential sports manga of the modern era, earning major awards and spawning multiple anime adaptations. The live-action project aims to bring the intense psychological battles and high-speed soccer action to the big screen.
