Baki The Grappler Stage 2: Tokyo Stage Play Cast & Key Visual
The staff of Baki THE GRAPPLER STAGE 2 -Saikyō Shikeishū-hen- revealed the key visual and the full cast lineup on Wednesday. This second stage adaptation of Keisuke Itagaki’s Baki The Grappler manga will run in Tokyo from July 23 to 28.

The stage play features both returning actors from the first production and new performers. The main cast includes:

The stage direction and script are handled by Daisuke Tanaka, with fight choreography by Hideaki Okuzumi for the first production.
Stage Play Background
The first stage play, Baki THE GRAPPLER STAGE -Chika Tōgiba-hen-, ran at Shinjuku Face in December 2024. Fans praised its faithful adaptation of the manga’s martial arts sequences and character dynamics.
Manga Overview
Keisuke Itagaki’s Baki The Grappler manga ran from 1991 to 1999 in Weekly Shōnen Champion, spanning 42 volumes. Its sequels include Baki, Hanma Baki, and Baki-Dou. The latest Baki-Dou series ran from 2018 to 2023.
The franchise continues to expand into anime, with the upcoming adaptation streaming on Netflix in 2026. Previous series include New Grappler Baki, Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen, and Baki Hanma, all of which are available worldwide on Netflix. The anime continues to follow the story arcs such as the “Tale of Pickle & The Pickle War Saga” and “The Father VS Son Saga.”
