TRUE Returns for Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie Part 1 Theme Song

Kyoto Animation has shared a major update for music fans. The singer TRUE will perform the theme song for the upcoming film. The song is titled “ToCoda”. This track serves as the main theme for Sound Euphonium Final Movie Part 1. The film will open in Japanese theaters on April 24.

A Decade of Music

TRUE has been part of this franchise for ten years. She performed songs for all three TV seasons and previous films. Her return for the Sound Euphonium Final Movie project feels like a perfect closing note. Kyoto Animation plans to screen the movie in about 200 theaters across Japan. This film starts the definitive end of the series.

New Content and Familiar Faces

Director Taichi Ogawa leads the project. The movie includes new material and performance scenes. These scenes never appeared in the TV anime. The story focuses on the youth and dedication of the concert band members. It feels as emotional as the recent [Love Unseen Anime Premiere] news. Both series focus on deep human connections and personal growth.

Production Staff and Cast

The original staff returns for this final journey. Jukki Hanada is writing the screenplay. Shoko Ikeda and Kazumi Ikeda handle the character designs. The cast includes Tomoyo Kurosawa as Kumiko Oumae and Chika Anzai as Reina Kousaka.

While some fans are looking for action like the [Dolls Nest Manga Launch], others prefer this musical drama. The franchise has grown since its debut in 2015. It now includes multiple seasons and movies like Liz and the Blue Bird. This new film marks the beginning of the end for Kumiko and her friends.

Editor’s Note: Kyoto Animation always delivers top-tier visuals. Are you ready to hear TRUE’s new song on the big screen this April?
