Daemons of the Shadow Realm Anime Reveals Main PV, New Cast, April 4 Premiere
The official site for the anime adaptation of Daemons of the Shadow Realm streamed its main promotional video, confirming an April 4 TV premiere alongside new cast members and theme songs.
The first cour’s opening theme “Tobu Toki” is performed by Vaundy, while the ending theme “Tobō yo” is sung by yama. The series will broadcast on channels including Tokyo MX and BS11, with additional regional airings to be announced. An advance screening with a talk show is scheduled for March 22 at Shinjuku Piccadilly, with live theater streaming across Japan.

Set in a secluded mountain village guarded by two stone sentinels, the story follows twins Yuru and Asa. While Yuru lives a quiet rural life, Asa remains imprisoned while carrying out a mysterious duty for the village. Hidden truths surrounding the twins and the village slowly come to light.

The manga is created by Hiromu Arakawa, known for works like Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon. It began serialization in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in December 2021, with the 10th volume released in July.
