The Executioner of Grenimal has officially been licensed for English release by Crossed Hearts, a newly launched global publisher based in California. The announcement marks the company’s third manga license as it continues expanding its catalog of Japanese and Asian titles.

The dark action fantasy manga, created by Akisuke, takes place in a collapsing world where monstrous beings known as Grenimals—creatures born from corrupted desire—threaten humanity’s survival. To face these abominations, elite Executioners step into the shadows. The story follows Mutuki and his sharp-tongued partner Yuri as they hunt twisted mysteries and confront the blurred line between hunter and prey.

First launched in May 2023, the manga has built a strong following for its grim atmosphere and brutal storytelling. The second compiled volume was released in Japan in June 2025, with more content expected in the future.

Crossed Hearts positions itself as a global English-language publisher of manga, Korean webcomics, and Asian novels. The company officially launched its website last October and offers limited edition access for readers who place pre-orders through its platform. In addition to manga, the publisher has been steadily expanding into manhwa, webtoons, and light novel-style releases.

With The Executioner of Grenimal, Crossed Hearts continues to strengthen its lineup of mature and genre-driven titles aimed at international readers.
