Oshi no Ko Shines Again With Season 3 Coming Winter 2026

The curtain is rising once more for Oshi no Ko.
It’s officially confirmed that the hit series will return with Season 3 in Winter 2026, bringing the glitter, darkness, and emotional intensity fans have come to love.

The new season will premiere in Japan on a Wednesday night, airing simultaneously across 36 television channels, marking one of the franchise’s widest broadcasts yet. International audiences will also be able to follow the story as it unfolds alongside the Japanese release.

Musically, Season 3 comes in strong. CHANMINA delivers the bold opening theme “Test Me,” while natori closes each episode with the emotional ending song “Serenade.” Two new characters also join the spotlight: Yuto Takenaka voices Shun Yoshizumi, and Yōji Ueda takes on the role of Tetsu Urushibara.

Most of the core creative team returns, ensuring continuity in tone and storytelling. The chief animation director team has expanded, with Kanna Hirayama, Ayaka Muroga, Kimiaki Mizuno, Shuri, Rina Morita, Haruka Inade, and Hirono Nishiki shaping the season’s visual polish. Kenji Sawada now stands as the sole main animator credited, signaling a refined production focus.

Since its explosive debut in 2023—with a feature-length first episode—Oshi no Ko has grown far beyond a typical anime hit. Its second season dove deep into the world of 2.5D theater with the Tokyo Blade arc, and the franchise itself has expanded into live-action projects, stage adaptations, and even a puzzle game planned for 2026.

As idols, actors, and the entertainment industry’s shadows collide once again, Season 3 promises to push the story further than ever—both dazzling and devastating in equal measure.
