The footage shows the silhouettes of the twin protagonists, Aether and Lumine, floating in a dark space as they reach toward each other. Flowing capes transition into multiple gothic-styled versions of the “Genshin” logo, offering an atmospheric preview that emphasizes production quality rather than story details.

The collaboration between ufotable and developer HoYoverse was first announced in September 2022 with a concept video that generated massive hype.
