You and I Are Polar Opposites Anime Announces Same-Day English Dub

The romantic comedy anime You and I Are Polar Opposites (Seihantaina Kimi to Boku) will receive a same-day English dub, starting from its television debut on January 11.

The English dub stars Celeste Perez as Suzuki and Brandon Acosta as Tani. They are joined by Van Barr Jr., Hannah Alyea, Cassie Ewulu, Sarah Roach, Mauricio Ortiz-Segura, Rebecca Danae, Cheyenne Haynes, Brad Kurtz, Amber May, Dallas Reid, and Terri Doty.
The dub is directed by Emily Fajardo, produced by Zach Bolton, with Macy Anne Johnson handling the English script adaptation.

You and I Are Polar Opposites

The anime is directed by Takakazu Nagatomo at Lapin Track, with series composition and scripts by Teruko Utsumi, who also serves as animation producer. Mako Miyako is in charge of character designs, while tofubeats composes the music.
The opening theme song “Lose the Frames” is performed by noa, and the ending theme “Pure feat. Eriko Hashimoto” is performed by PAS TASTA.

Based on Kōcha Agasawa’s manga, the story follows Suzuki, a cheerful girl who tends to follow the crowd, and Tani, a quiet boy who always speaks his mind. Their opposite personalities slowly draw them together in a heartfelt and relatable romantic comedy.

The manga ended in November 2024, has over 1.6 million copies in circulation, and ranked highly in the Manga Taisho Awards, highlighting its strong popularity ahead of the anime adaptation.
