Weiß Schwarz Online Game Announced for Switch and PC
Bushiroad has officially revealed that a Weiß Schwarz Online game is in development and will launch this fall for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The announcement was made through a new video shared on the card game’s official YouTube channel.
The upcoming title brings the popular Weiß Schwarz trading card game into a fully online competitive format. Players will be able to face off against others worldwide, complete with a ranking system to track performance and climb the competitive ladder. The game will be released in two versions: Weiß and Schwarz, staying true to the structure of the original card game.
This isn’t the franchise’s first step into gaming. Back in 2011, a Weiß Schwarz Portable game was released for the PlayStation Portable, giving fans an earlier digital take on the card battles.
The announcement also comes during a period of internal restructuring at Bushiroad. The company recently closed its Bushiroad Games label, confirming that future mobile titles will be published under the Bushimo brand, while console games will continue under the Bushiroad name.
With online play, ranked matches, and modern platform support, Weiß Schwarz Online looks set to introduce the card game to a wider audience while giving longtime fans a new way to enjoy competitive battles.
