Futabasha’s Web Action manga site revealed that creators Tomo Serizawa and Koomori are each launching new manga on the platform in February.

Serizawa’s new series, Ottava!!! Chiisana Te no Pianist, debuted on February 6. The story follows Eito, a boy living in his family’s workshop in Hokkaido where piano wood is crafted. After learning that the pianist he admires will perform at a major concert, Eito—whose hands have finally grown enough to reach an octave—decides to take the stage himself.

Koomori’s new manga, Start Over, launched on February 20. The story centers on high school freshman Aki Hayami, who loves her quiet hometown of Shūgoyamachi. Her daily life changes when transfer student Riichi Tokinaga arrives from Tokyo, and Aki is assigned to guide him despite his distant attitude.

Serizawa is known for works such as Snow Fairy and White Liar and other titles released internationally, while Koomori previously serialized Our Aimless Nights on Web Action from 2022 to 2024. Print editions of Koomori’s earlier work are also scheduled for international release in 2026.
