Season 2 of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok has officially concluded due to the series’ artist JIN preparing to fulfill South Korea’s mandatory military service.
The announcement was shared alongside the latest chapter, where JIN addressed readers directly and confirmed that this would be his final work on the series for the time being. Reflecting on his career, the artist described his years in webtoon production as a period of major personal and professional growth, noting that working on Ragnarok was especially meaningful to him.

Publisher D&C Webtoon later confirmed that the second season has ended as planned and stated that Season 3 is currently in development. The company also revealed that the upcoming season will move forward with a different artist, though no release schedule has been disclosed.
As a sequel to the global hit Solo Leveling, Ragnarok shifts the spotlight to Sung Sooho, the son of legendary hunter Sung Jinwoo. Set years after the original story, the series explores Sooho’s awakening powers and the heavy legacy left behind by his father, while maintaining the intense action and dramatic storytelling fans expect.
Written by Daul and illustrated by JIN and Brix under REDICE Studio, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok has continued to build on the franchise’s international success, attracting a strong readership across digital platforms.
