The official website for the Needy Streamer Overload TV anime has unveiled new details about the series, including the cast for Karamazov, a brand-new streamer unit created exclusively for the anime adaptation. Alongside the cast reveal, the staff also confirmed that the anime will receive early theatrical screenings starting March 6, ahead of its television broadcast.
A third key visual showcasing the new unit was also released.
Meet Karamazov
Karamazov is a newly formed streamer group unique to the anime, and its members are voiced by:
- Rina Kawaguchi as Purple Lollipop, the charismatic leader of the group
- Satsuki Shiina as Michika Gokubara
- Seena Hoshiki as Nechika-sama
Compilation Film Hits Theaters First
Before the anime officially begins airing on TV, a compilation of its episodes will be screened in Japanese theaters under the title Needy Girl Overdose -Overture-. The screenings will take place at Theatre Shinjuku in Tokyo and Theatre Umeda in Osaka, starting on March 6.
The television anime itself is scheduled to premiere in April 2026.

The anime is based on the original work by WSS playground, with Masaoki Nakajima directing the series at Yostar Pictures. Game scenario writer nyalra is credited for the original concept, story, and overall supervision. Character designs originate from the game’s artist Ohisashiburi, while the anime’s main character designers include Kenji Saikai, Akari Takei, and Umito Shimizu.

Originally released in January 2022, Needy Streamer Overload (known as Needy Girl Overdose in Japan) is a multi-ending adventure game that follows 30 intense days in the life of a girl obsessed with online validation as she aims to become the ultimate streamer. The game has surpassed 3 million downloads worldwide and is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
The franchise has also expanded with a manga adaptation, Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick, illustrated by Itaru Bonnoki, which began serialization in 2023.
