Koisuru One Piece Manga to End With Next Chapter Published Now
The 179th chapter of Daiki Ihara’s Koisuru One Piece gag manga revealed on Thursday that the series will conclude with its next chapter on January 22.
Koisuru One Piece is a parody gag manga that follows a group of high school students who coincidentally share the same names as the members of the Straw Hat Pirates from Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece. The series humorously reimagines the legendary pirate crew as ordinary students dealing with school life, friendships, and over-the-top misunderstandings inspired by their famous namesakes.
Ihara launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service in June 2018. The series went on hiatus in November 2021, before resuming serialization in April 2025. The manga’s 12th collected volume was released on January 5.
The series also inspired a set of net anime shorts, which streamed daily from April 1 to April 5, 2025, across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
