The production team behind Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku has released the third promotional video for the anime’s upcoming second season. The new trailer began streaming on Wednesday and offers fans a fresh look at what’s to come.

Most notably, the video reveals and previews the ending theme song, titled “PERSONAL”, performed by Queen Bee. Known for their distinctive style and bold sound, Queen Bee’s involvement adds another layer of intensity to the series’ dark atmosphere.

With the new promotional footage now live, excitement continues to build as Hell’s Paradise prepares for its return, promising even more brutal battles, emotional tension, and deeper exploration of the mysterious island.

The second season of Hell’s Paradise (Jigokuraku) is officially set to return this winter. The anime will premiere on January 11 at 11:45 p.m. on TV Tokyo and its affiliate channels, with streaming in Japan beginning 30 minutes later on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Lemino.
International fans will be able to watch the new season on Crunchyroll as it airs.

Alongside the broadcast details, several new cast members have been announced, expanding the Yamada Asaemon lineup:

  • Ryōta Suzuki as Yamada Asaemon Shugen
  • Kōji Yusa as Yamada Asaemon Jikka
  • Maaya Uchida as Yamada Asaemon Kiyomaru
  • Sayaka Ōhara as Yamada Asaemon Isuzu

Production for the new season remains in familiar hands. Kaori Makita returns to direct the anime at MAPPA, while Twin Engine once again handles planning. Akira Kindaichi continues as series script supervisor, with Akitsugu Hisagi back as character designer and Yoshiaki Dewa returning to compose the music. Ayako Suenaga also reprises her role as color key artist.

Some changes have been made to the staff lineup this season. Chika Toda joins the team as the new compositing director of photography, and Junichi Higashi takes over as art director.

The opening theme song, “Kasuka na Hana” (Faint Flower), will be performed by Tatsuya Kitani feat. BABYMETAL, adding extra hype to the season’s debut.

Originally adapted from Yuji Kaku’s manga, Hell’s Paradise follows Gabimaru, a former elite ninja sentenced to death, who is given a chance at freedom by joining a deadly expedition to search for the elixir of immortality. The manga ran on Shonen Jump+ from 2018 to 2021 and concluded with 13 volumes.

The anime’s first season aired in April 2023 and quickly gained attention for its dark fantasy atmosphere, intense action, and striking visuals. With Season 2 on the way, the series is gearing up to dive even deeper into the mysteries of the island and the fate of its characters.
