The BanG Dream! universe is expanding once again. The official website for BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita, a new TV anime inspired by the virtual girl band Mugendai Mewtype (YumeMita), has officially opened and shared a wave of new information. Fans were treated to the anime’s first promotional video, a key visual, the full staff lineup, and confirmation of a summer broadcast on Tokyo MX and additional channels.
The anime is being directed by Tomomi Umetsu at NICHICALINE, with Hiroshi Morita serving as assistant director. Series composition and script supervision are handled by Midori Gotō, who is also co-writing the scripts alongside Akiko Waba, Yotsuji Haibuchi, and Hitomi Ogawa.
Character designs are provided by Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo, both well known to BanG Dream! fans for their work on It’s MyGo!!!!! and Ave Mujica. Music production was previously announced to be handled by PHYZ, with Bushiroad Music overseeing the overall music production.

Additional staff members include Takuya Chanohara and Yuka Yamori on animation character design, Satoshi Tokushige and Shinpei Tokushige as art directors, and Mana Watanabe as color key artist. Keisuke Watabe serves as compositing director of photography, while editing is handled by Hatsumi Hidaka and director Tomomi Umetsu himself. Sound direction is led by Satoshi Motoyama, with Makoto Tanimura as recording director, and Shōta Hozumi acting as animation producer.
At the heart of the project is the Mugendai Mewtype virtual girl band, made up of Arale Nakamachi on vocals, Nonoka Miyanaga and Ritsu Minetsuki on guitars, Miyako Fuji on keyboard, and Yuno Sengoku as DJ and manipulator. The anime aims to bring the band’s virtual presence into animated form, blending music, emotion, and BanG Dream!’s signature charm.
With its first PV now out and a summer premiere ahead, BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita is shaping up to be another exciting chapter for fans of the franchise.
