Produced by STUDIO4°C, the anime retells the original story from a fresh viewpoint, separating it from both the original novel and the live-action adaptation. Set on a future Earth under siege, the story follows a young soldier trapped in a brutal time loop, forced to relive battle after battle in hopes of survival.
The movie also features the theme song “Tsuretette,” written and performed by AKASAKI, marking the artist’s first anime theme contribution.
