Rintaro Negishi Joins I.ADORE Short Anime as Utsuro Amanogawa
I.ADORE has revealed another character casting for its upcoming short anime, announcing Rintaro Negishi as the voice of Utsuro Amanogawa. Alongside the cast reveal, a new character promotional video was also released, offering a closer look at Utsuro’s personality and role within the project.
The short anime is set to debut this Friday, with new episodes scheduled to release weekly on Fridays at 12:00 p.m. JST. A prologue video for the project was previously released earlier this year, helping establish the setting and tone of the series.
The project features a growing ensemble cast, including Kaoru Mitsuhashi, Masaya Fukunishi, Kaito Udagawa, Hiromu Mineta, Tatsumaru Tachibana, Masaya Miyazaki, and Takahide Ishii, each portraying idols with distinct ideologies and personalities.
At its core, I.ADORE presents a unique concept centered on idols who express political beliefs through music and performance, competing to shape their own “Idol Sengoku Jidai”, or Idol Warring States Era. The series blends music, ideology, and character-driven drama into a bold narrative format.
