BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Film Gets Title and Fall Release
The BanG Dream! franchise has shared fresh updates for fans, as the official website for the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica anime film project opened and revealed new details. The film’s title has been confirmed as BanG Dream! Ave Mujica: prima aurora, along with a teaser visual and a fall theatrical premiere window.
The Ave Mujica TV anime originally debuted in Japan in January 2025, expanding the BanG Dream! universe with a darker tone and strong musical themes. Earlier this year, Bushiroad also announced that both BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica will receive sequel television series, further cementing their place in the franchise’s ongoing story.
Meanwhile, the BanG Dream! world continues to grow in other formats as well. A short-form mini anime series titled Ganzo! Bandori-chan began streaming in October, releasing new episodes weekly and offering a lighter, playful take on the franchise.
BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!! first premiered in June 2023, and later received two compilation films. The first, Haru no Hidamari, Mayoi Neko, opened in September 2024, followed by Utau, Bokura ni Nareru Uta in November 2024.
Originally launched by Bushiroad in 2015, the BanG Dream! multimedia project has grown into a massive franchise spanning TV anime, films, live concerts, and web series. With prima aurora on the way, Ave Mujica is now set to shine on the big screen as the next chapter unfolds.
